Harmony Cooperative Grocery Board of Directors
The Harmony Board of Directors is a representative body, democratically elected by Harmony's member/owners.
The Board is responsible for:
- Being the voice of, and representing the interests of Harmony's membership
- Defining the vision of the co-op
- Developing policies to carry out that vision
- Hiring and evaluation of the General Manager
- Adhering to all governing documents set forth by the Co-operative and the Board of Directors
- Ensuring the long-term financial health and sustainability of the organization
Board Meetings
Regular Board meetings are scheduled once monthly, and except for closed sessions, are open to Harmony members. If you have an item that you'd like to bring before the Board, contact Dennis Montgomery, Board Chair, at least 7 days before the next scheduled meeting and (subject to time constraints) your item will be added to the agenda.
